 FORCE SPORTS PERFORMANCE – TAKE YOUR GAME TO THE TOP 

  

The Fargo Force in conjunction with the Cullen Force Academy are proud to announce the start of Force Sports Performance a hockey specific training center for members of the Cullen Force Academy.

  

The Force Sports Performance Training Center will run Monday through Friday out of Scheels Arena, the home of the Fargo Force. FSP participants will have exclusive access to the Fargo Force's newly renovated weight room, which is custom built for hockey focused training, featuring cutting edge equipment designed to increase the speed, strength, and mobility of a hockey player. As well as the turf which being installed at Scheels Arena for the first time in the building's 15-year history.  

  

Fargo Force Director of Sports Performance, Stephanie Oliver will be the lead Strength Coach for FSP. Oliver has a vast wealth of knowledge in Sports Training/Coaching. She has her master's degree in Sports Performance and Rehab, her CSCS certification, is a PICP level 1 coach, Strength Sensei Strength & Conditioning Coach, Level 1 Olympic Lifting Coach, and is Kilo Program Design/Sports Specific programming certified.  

  

She has also worked amongst some of the best strength coaches in the industry, she was as an assistant strength coach at Michigan Elite Conditioning for Athletes with Dave Lawrence; a Level 5 Poliquin strength coach and strength coach at Prentiss Human Performance with Ben Prentiss, Level 5 Poliquin strength coach and NHL consultant. Stephanie will also be joined by Fargo Force Athletic Trainer, Derrick Grieshaber. Derrick has a BS in Athletic Training from Lindenwood University, MS Post Professional Athletic Training from NDSU and is a Certified Exercise Specialist.   

  

"I am very excited to bring specific hockey strength training to the FM Arena and help athletes reach the top of their game," commented Oliver. "The level of hockey in our area continues to go up. We're building something special here in Fargo/Moorhead and I am honored to be a part of it."   

  

Together the duo will provide training catered to all different age levels, including Mites, Squirts, Bantams, Peewees and High School aged players. Along with strength, speed, mobility, and agility training players will learn the value of recovery and nutrition, all of which are instrumental in making an athlete the best they can be.

Our overall health has increased from working with Steph every day and that has definitely translated to our performance on the ice."

"We are excited to provide this resource to the Fargo-Moorhead community and to the growing number of high-level athletes in our area."  

  

Force Sports Performance will start their ten-week training regimen in June of 2023 and will go to the end of August. FSP is built to cater to your Cullen Force Academy training schedule, the programs will work in tandem to provide an all-around training regimen.
